Introduction
Good morning, here’s a Sunday read from The Old Post Office.
In this edition are some links from our corner of the internet(/instagram) - with many links to things we’ve seen that we think you’ll be interested in.
Last week Rachel held two accountability sessions at the coworking space - if you’re interested in joining, we’re largely organising them over on our Coworkers whatsapp community*. Though when there are firm dates, we’ll be sure to share them in this newsletter. *Get in touch directly if you’d like to join the Whatsapp Community. The only requirement to join, is that you need to have been to the coworking space…
I’ve signed up for Stirchley Sewing School *finally*! I’m joining the Absolute Beginners classes, starting tomorrow. Can’t wait! Charlotte’s held her sewing classes at the coworking space for a year now. It’s a great use of the coworking space out of hours.
I hope you enjoy the newsletter, and I’ll see you soon - either in the coworking space, at sewing school or probably Stirchley Community Market!— Kerry & team TOPO

Registered address service
We’ve had a flurry of interest in our registered address service. If you run a business or another type of registered organisation such as a charity or CIC, and don’t want to have your home address listed on HMRC’s public records, consider moving your registered address service to The Old Post Office. £8 per month, the details are here.

A song from 1919, Vanity Fair
Excerpt: “I hate the office; It cuts in on my social life.”

There’s one month left to register for autumn’s Birmingham Open Studios (deadline 30 June). The Old Post Office took part as a venue with coworker artists in 2023, and I’m sure we will do so again this year. More info via their website. Email me if you’d be interested in taking part as part of TOPO [email protected], we haven’t planned anything yet.

Music to work to
If you’re relatively new to The Old Post Office’s newsletter, you may not know we had a regular Music to work to section of the newsletter - with playlists from coworkers. I’d love to bring this section back on a regular basis, if anyone would like to expose their musical taste? You need to submit 10 tracks, plus a little bit about you (email [email protected])
If you want to browse the archives, you can look through past newsletters - or head straight to Spotify.
For this newsletter, I’m re-sharing the very first playlist which is by Julia Gilbert. (It was Julia who came up with the idea for the playlists)

P.s. A reminder we have a Coworkers Whatsapp community - reply to this email if you'd like to join. P.p.s. If you'd like to come and cowork you can book your desk via this link
