Headline Stirchley news: McDonald's is consulting once again on plans to build a site in Stirchley. If you have an opinion, you can respond to this consultation, whether you're in support or opposed.
McDonald's could be counting on consultation fatigue. This is now their second public consultation before they've even submitted a planning application to Birmingham City Council. You've already responded once, and now you're being asked to do it again. Then, if they go ahead, there'll be a formal opportunity to comment when the planning application is submitted to Birmingham City Council. If that application is refused and they submit a revised application, the community will be asked to engage all over again.
It's hard not to wonder whether wearing people down is part of the strategy.

The Mobile Household Waste Centre will be at Morrisons car park on Tuesday 14 July from 7.30am until 12.30pm. A reminder of what you can and can't bring, plus a link to find out when the next ones will be in the area via the Council's website.
Hazelwell Church have a Summer Fun Day on Saturday 18 July 12noon-3pm, with crafts, BBQ, bouncy castle, stalls, games and stories. Free entry.
