Another IWD event, SheCreates have an event at the MAC from 11am-3pm on Sunday 8 March, featuring markets, workshops, music, poetry and dance. ‘Expect hands-on workshops in art, poetry and arts bid writing, live performances from women and gender-expansive musicians, and opportunities to connect with Birmingham’s creative community.’ More info/tickets.

Walk Space West Midlands and Friends of Stirchley Library have started a new book club - from Wednesday 18 March at Stirchley Library, and then every month on the 3rd Wednesday. From 6.30pm. Members choose the books by vote. The March book chosen by current members is W. G. Sebald's - The Rings of Saturn. For more details either email [email protected] or DM them on instagram. The book club is free. The books aren't provided, however a sharing system will be set up at the library.
