The Old Post Office is open for coworking Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm. You’ll usually find Pendra around most days (and always Tuesdays and Thursdays), Bryn and Mark on Mondays, Jen on Wednesdays, and Ellie on Fridays.See you then! Book your desk in advance online.

Venue hire
When the coworking space is not in use for coworking, C90 Community Chorus or Stirchley Sewing School, our high street unit is available for hire. As we’ve mentioned in a recent newsletter Charlotte from Stirchley Sewing School is on maternity leave so there’s a reduced sewing timetable.
If venue hire (especially for something regular, until later in the year) is something you’d be interested in, please get in touch with information about what you would like to do - and ideally when - and we can take it from there.
Availability
Weeknights: Monday to Thursday 5.15pm—10pm. Minimum booking 3 hours. (on Fridays we have C90 Community Chorus in)
Saturdays and Sundays: available some Saturdays and Sundays, all day from 8am—10pm. Minimum booking 4 hours.
Local links
If you’d like to get outside, do some good and meet new folks, Fruit and Nut Village, Stirchley-based charity, are always looking for volunteers - whatever the weather. This week they’re starting the week in Stirchley - Kingdom Forest Garden orchard on the River Rea cycle path between Birmingham Brewery and Fordhouse Lane (today - Monday 21 July, 9am-12noon), and tomorrow they’re at Saheli Hub and Druids Heath Library. Daniel Kitson has a show called ‘Daniel Kitson: Not more than a fiver, for obvious reasons (apart from the booking fee)’ at the MAC this week, they are one his £5 work-in-progress / development shows - 23/24/25 July at 7pm, tickets £5+booking fee
Bournville are hosting their second annual Pride Picnic on the Green this Sunday 27 July from 12noon-4pm. Free (BYOP), more information via instagram
Flatpack Festival are screening Together We Cycle (Dir. Arne GielentNetherlands 2022, 70 mins, Cert: 15), Wednesday 30 July, 6pm at the Mockingbird Cinema in Digbeth. ‘The film explores how, against global car-centric trends, the Dutch consciously championed cycling, making it integral to their society. Through interviews with key figures, and some amazing archive material, it uncovers the journey from vehicle prioritisation to today's cycle-friendly infrastructure.’ Tickets £9.95
Next month: The Big Brum Boogie is back - a queer dance social with salsa, cha-cha, rumba and more. Taking place Sunday 17 & Sunday 31 August at Stirchley United Club. More via instagram.

The coworking space is open this week Monday to Friday between 9am-5pm
You can book:
a half day (9am-12.30pm / 1.30pm-5pm)
full day (9am-5pm)
school hours (9am-3pm)
With no ongoing commitment needed (though we’d of course love to have you back).
If you’d like to start something more regular here, you may like to consider a discounted monthly membership such a half a day a week / one day a week.
