Hello,The newsletter is going to shift to fortnightly after today while I still navigate new job / juggling commitments. I love to write the newsletters but they do take a bit of time putting together and while I'm putting more energy into getting the next Stirchley Community Market together and still finding my feet in my new job, something has to slow down. Even more reason to read them right?!Have a good week!— Kerry

A few months ago I shared the details for Yorks Supplies Co-Op community share offer, they've recently announced the community raised a whopping £350k, and have match funding to reach a total of £600k to save the community asset. Inspiring! (BBC article here)
I've been working from Stirchley Baths (for my new job) 2-3 days a week and there's a lot of good stuff happening there; barn dancing, digital skills for the over 50s, glow bugs babies sessions, all sorts. Life affirming. See the What's On page on the website

This week's Music to work to (#43) is by Abbe Elliston"Hello! Abbe here, Head of Operations for Flatpack (you might know us as the people that organise Flatpack Festival every year in May) and new-ish keyholder at The Old Post Office. You can find me at TOPO on Thursdays trying to limit the amount of delicious coffee I consume and getting the jobs done I've put off all week. One of the best things about the co-working space for me is meeting new people so if you see me please do say hello. Favourite herb? Thoughts on the new Beatles single? Which is better, pasta or noodles? I'm always up for a chat about the big stuff. For my Music to work to playlist I’ve gone for upbeat, mellow instrumental songs for when you need to focus on the words on your screen rather than words in your ears."Here's a link to Abbe's playlist (43 saves for the 43rd playlist!)and a link to connect with Abbe on LinkedinDo also take a look at Flatpack FestivalThank you Abbe!
