Starting off the year with a strong message / handmade card through the post made by Jodi Fox. Jodi pulped her own paper using her old business cards, which she stamped and then drew on. You can see more about how and why in her explainer video over on her instagram page. Jodi works from the coworking space when she's back in Birmingham (come visit soon!)More love (and letters in the post) in 2023!💌 I LOVE POST 💌

Fundraising screening for B30 FoodbankSORRY WE MISSED YOU is a British drama in which a married couple struggle to meet the unfair demands of their zero hour contract jobs. This film is incredibly relevant to our current cost of living crisis, and as always, director Ken Loach packs an unflinching punch - it's a must see and we hope you can also help our fundraising for the local foodbank charity. Music to work to #25 - playlist by Matt Edmonds"Hi, I'm Matt Edmonds, an architectural designer and lecturer living in Stirchley.I'm in the office most days but when I get the chance to work remotely, I'll often pop over to the co-working space as it's such a welcoming and calm place to be.I've worked on a variety of different 'types' of architecture from creative little residential extensions and interventions to larger towers and masterplans, however my main motivation isn't about size, scale, or budget, it's about creating architecture that truly enriches the lives of the people experiencing the building.Much like my career, the playlist I've assembled is also a hodgepodge of different genres - it's a mix of some of my classic work go-to's and some songs I've been listening to recently.I hope you enjoy it."Here's Matt's playlist - thanks Matt!
