Boiler issuesThe coworking space is closed at the moment, I'll be able to give an update on Tuesday in my next newsletter about next week. Not ideal, thanks for bearing with! It's likely I need to buy a new boiler (and no, it's not covered by my landlord) and it will be 71 day passes to pay for it. *gulp*. If you'd like to book for a day/days in the future you can do so via the booking platform. Or if you'd like to financially support/invest in TOPO and don't mind not actually claiming the day pass in the future, you can pick a day that's 'gone' such as Weds 7 / Thurs 8 or Fri 9 December.Hopefully you're all staying warm wherever you are working from. I have an electric throw and a cat so I am very content, if not mildly alarmed at the expensive breaking of things (my boiler, laptop, phone case) recently.
Wellbeing walks with The Clear SpaceFriday 16 Dec, 7.45-8.45am (and every Friday morning)The regular wellbeing walk, meet at TOPO at 7.40am. Reply to this email if you'd like to be added to Laura's whatsapp group (it's a broadcast only whatsapp group.) Jane - one of the walk's regulars is leading the next walk.
Freelancers / Coworkers christmas partyFriday 16 Dec, 4.30pm onwardsA christmassy get together for TOPO coworkers held at The Old Post Office. Let me know you're coming by signing up on eventbrite, teas&coffees available, christmas jumpers and/or sequins encouraged, snacks, BYOB. I'd quite like to go to Wildcat/Cork and Cage afterwards and then maybe ending with a curry... yum.

Stirchley singing group have a Christmas special, tonight (Fri 9 Dec) 7pm-10pm at Artefact: "An informal gathering of people who love to sing interesting songs, from Olde English Folk Songs to Croatian coastal chants, 16th Century Pirate Shanties to Yoruba love Hymns" it's free and no experience necessary.
There was a lengthy write up about Stirchley Printworks on the I Choose Birmingham newsletter. Stirchley Printworks have a number of courses over the next week; Lino printing tomorrow (10th), Lino printing taster 15th Dec, Holiday card printing on the 16th. All on their website with more in 2023.
Culture Central's Convene is a programme of webinars, presentations and Q&As, designed to address practical topics and themes that their Convene, Challenge, Connect programme research identified as being areas of need within the arts sector. I've binged them while I've been off from TOPO this week and here to recommend.
